Lincoln Planning Board meeting notice

The Town of Lincoln Planning Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in the Council Chambers at the Lincoln Town Office, 29 Main St.

The Board is expected to review proposed updates to land-use standards for mixed-use areas, consider preliminary approval and referral to a final hearing for a proposed workforce-housing development at 25 Katahdin Ave., and consider the appointment of Charlie Dwelly as a junior alternate member.

Proposed workforce housing project

The submitted application for 25 Katahdin Ave. outlines a proposed workforce-housing development on approximately 4.92 acres within the former mill redevelopment area. The project proposes about 34 homes in two phases:

  • Phase 1 would include 18 apartment units, including one- and two-bedroom homes.

  • Phase 2 would include approximately 16 single-family homes with one-, two-, and three-bedroom options.

  • The application describes public water and sewer connections, 36 parking spaces, all-electric apartments, rooftop solar for Phase 1, and TimberHP insulation.

Members of the public will have an opportunity to participate during the meeting’s public open forum. The project and land-use standards remain subject to Planning Board review, a possible final hearing, and applicable permitting processes.

The agenda has been made available for viewing on the Official Town of Lincoln Website.
