The Lincoln Town Council met at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Region III Northern Penobscot Technical Center, 35 W. Broadway in Lincoln.
Meeting materials included the Council agenda and backup documents, information on ordinance changes approved in June, and a public-facing overview of the proposed Industrial Mixed-Use (IMU) zoning change. The IMU overview explained how the proposal relates to Maine housing-law requirements while retaining local authority over industrial-development standards such as buffering, parking, lighting, traffic, and environmental performance requirements.
The meeting was also scheduled to be livestreamed through Zoom and the Town of Lincoln’s YouTube channel.
