Dear Editor,
I am pleased to offer my strong endorsement of three outstanding candidates seeking to serve the people of our region: Republican Representatives Irene Gifford, Mathew McIntyre and Nancy Theriault. Each brings a unique set of talents and experiences, but they share a common commitment to integrity, accountability, and improving the lives of Maine families.
Having worked with and observed these candidates in our communities and Republican organizations, I have seen firsthand their dedication to public service and their willingness to listen to the concerns of everyday citizens. Representative Irene Gifford has distinguished herself through her tireless advocacy for taxpayers, small businesses, veterans, seniors, children, and education. Her leadership is marked by transparency, fairness, and a collaborative approach that puts constituents first.
Representative Mathew McIntyre represents the next generation of Maine leadership. He is focused on strengthening Maine’s economy, modernizing energy infrastructure, and restoring trust in government through transparency and accountability. His vision balances support for traditional industries with opportunities in emerging technologies, creating pathways for young Mainers to build their futures here at home.
Like Irene and Mathew, Representative Nancy Theriault has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving her community and standing up for the values that matter most to Maine families. Her dedication, leadership, and practical approach to problem-solving make her an exceptional candidate and a strong advocate for the people she seeks to represent.
Together, Irene Gifford, Mathew McIntyre and Nancy Theriault offer voters a team of principled leaders who understand the challenges facing our communities and are prepared to work diligently on behalf of their constituents. Their shared commitment to responsible government, economic opportunity, and strong communities makes them worthy of our support.
I encourage voters to support these candidates in the upcoming election. Maine will be well served by their leadership, integrity, and dedication to public service.
Sincerely,
Brian Moura
